Iron Range Jerky is a small, Texas-based operation built on a simple principle: if you’re going to make something, make it well—and make it taste like you meant it.
I’m Robert Thompson, founder and hands-on everything. What started as a personal obsession with perfecting flavor turned into a full-blown jerky business (some would call that a hobby gone too far—those people are no longer invited to taste tests). Every batch is handcrafted in small quantities, using real ingredients and recipes I’ve spent an unreasonable amount of time refining.
The flavors are bold, the process is deliberate, and nothing gets bagged unless I’d proudly eat it myself. There are easier ways to run a business, but none that would result in the kind of jerky I set out to make.
